Send SMS

Mdigital Direct's SMS application, even in its Standard option, has a feature rich offering.

Supported by online help documentation the system is intuitive and easy to use.  Simply create or import contacts - select them, then type and send your message.  Spend a bit more time and you can group your contacts using categories to allow the quick selection of different groups to send to.  A bit like distribution groups in Outlook.

You can send long messages that are over 160 characters long.  Our technology splits these messages into parts (as each SMS can only be 160 characters long) and sends the multiple message parts to the recipient mobile phone.  The mobile phone combines the multipart messages back together so they appear as one message for the recipient.

The schedule delivery and source address fields are only available to the Advance Send account type.  This account type also lets you put {name} into your text message for the system to swap in the contact name when the messages are sent.

Contact lists can be imported and exported.  Editing a contact allows you to select one or more categories which can then be used to select a group of contacts to send a message to.

History reports under the report menu allows you to view both your IN and OUT message history and will give a final message delivery status to the mobile handset.  You can also search and display purchase invoices incase you did not print your invoice at the time of purchase.
